Butch--The times we knew in Spain are long gone now--45 years and more. The ever-shifting world of Air Force brats brought together and then separated our lives. Still, I always held to the notion we might cross paths again. I did not imagine it would be like this. So, for you, I offer the words the Canadian Legion uses to commemorate the war dead:
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
